Step 2: Air Out Your Vehicle In The Sun

Ideally, park your car in a cool, sunny spot and then open up the doors and windows, including the sunroof if there’s one. Allow any dampness to dry out in a few hours.

You may also spray other areas of your car where the fungus has infiltrated, including the air vent, dashboard, and steering wheel.

Step 5: Remove the Residue

After removing the mould, use a good wet-dry vacuum to vacuum up the liquid solution used completely. On the other hand, wait for those areas to dry out first, then sweep off the mould residue.

Step 6: Replace the Sanitised Items and Prevent Mould from Ever Coming Back

After you’ve used the anti-microbial solution, washed, and dried out the affected areas, it’s time to put back the car parts you might have detached, then replace your seat covers and carpets if they’re affected too.
